Authentic Dutch NSB WW2 march medal (Feinzink), sized 45 x 45 mm

Shaped as an eight-pointed star, with in the center the coat of arms of Haarlem, colored with red paint and on the rays of the star in relief block letters the inscription “NSB” and “WA”.

On the reverse, the text, “Bloembollenmarsch” (Flower Bulb March) and the year “1943” are engraved.

If one had participated in this march for the fifth time (1943), the earlier bronze medals were to be exchanged for this silver grade.
March medals were considered high grade sports medals and long distance marches were one of the mandatory requirements that one had to meet in order to achieve or keep the “WA-Sport insigne”.

Registered letter to the UK will cost GBP 11.-
