Rare cardboard chocolate Scho-ka-cola ration package

Description

Rare original issue cardboard Scho-Ka-Kola ration chocolate packaging. The cardboard is in good strong condition and still has nice colours. The box is dated 4/42, which would be April 1942. You will find the metal boxes 99% of the time, but the cardboard variation is much rarer.

You can also find this one in the book “Rations of the German Wehrmacht in World War II”

On the box you can still faintly make out the text “uhren glässer”which means that someone after the war probably used the box as storage for watch parts.
